High-rollers have to get Crown Resort Ltd and The Star Entertainment Group out of the red. The high rollers have been away for a while, but will be returning to Australia from 16 October 2017 to gamble. Both casinos are not doing well at the moment, but this must change in the short term.
High-rollers deterred by VIP scandal
The high rollers have not been to Crown and Star for a while. This is due to a VIP scandal at the casinos, with some of the casino employees being arrested for gambling crimes. Not in Australia, but in China. For a while the casinos suffered from this scandal, but now the high-rollers seem to have forgotten the scandal again. There is plenty of roulette, blackjack and baccarat playing again. One of the reasons for this is that the main character of the VIP scandal has been released in China. He served a 10-month prison sentence for gambling crimes.
Good times for Crown and Star soon
Now that the high-rollers are returning to Crown and Star, hopefully good times for the casinos will start soon. This is certainly necessary, because the VIP scandal has both put them in the red. Now that the high-rollers are coming back, they can hopefully get back in the black numbers and leave the VIP scandal behind forever.
